Consider Him 10

Well, we have come to the end of this series on “Consider Him”.  I hope that this series has cause you to take a deeper look into Jesus Christ.  Most of all I hope that if you do not know Him as your Saviour that you will receive Him today before it is eternally too late.

Today, I want to “Consider Him in His Coming Again”.  It is a sad reality; but, God’s chosen people have missed His first coming.  They still look for Messiah to come the first time.  Yet, we who are born-again are looking for Him to come back the second time.  This time He will come back to receive His children out of this world and take them to Heaven where He has a home prepared for us.

Look at John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”  You can take this promise to the bank so to speak.  He has promised that He will come again.  This day will take so many by surprise.  They will be unprepared for His coming again.

One day there will be a mass exodus and the lost world will wonder where we have gone.  I am looking forward to His coming again.  I pray that it is soon.

Are you looking forward to Jesus coming again?  Maybe, you are one of those who believe that it is just some fable that we hang on to.  Well, it is the truth and one day Jesus will come back whether we are ready or not.  Make preparation today.

So, how are you doing?

The Sound Of The Trumpet

I remember over fifteen years ago going to see the Gaither’s at IJonathan Byrds Cafeteria.  There was a guy playing a silver trumpet.  It turned out to be the late Bob Cain.  He was awesome.  I remember being blinded by the trumpet.

The Israelites used trumpets for many things.  They were used to call people to assemble and to warm people of coming danger.  Look at Numbers 10:2-3, “Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.   And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.”

We are told in the Scriptures that one day the trumpet of God will sound.  When it does we who know Christ as our Saviour and are still alive will be taken to Heaven.  That will leave all those who do not know Christ as Saviour here on earth.  The influence of the Holy Spirit will be gone with all believers and things will get far worse or darker than they are right now.

There is one way to prepare the the blowing of God’s trumpet.  That is to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and be saved.  If you would like to do just that please contact me and I would love to show you how.
