Keep The Door Of My Lips

Psalm 141:3-4, “Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.  Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.”

Knowing this blog is posted on the internet site “Facebook” I have to mention this.  I spoke earlier to someone and we were chatting about the site.  We were lamenting about how some people just put anything on their page.  I recounted for this person of someone who we both know and how they had even gone so far as to curse in something that they had written for all the world to see.  I was shocked and really hurt by this.

One of these days in the not so far future we will all stand before God and give an account for every word, Matthew 12:36, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”  Paul warns us in II Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

So, how are you doing?
