Who Do You Trust?

On Sunday morning our Pastor shared a great message that I have turned into the past three posts including today’s offering.  I hope you have been encouraged by them.

If you live very long you will be betrayed by someone close to you.  Jesus was betrayed by Judas.  I have betrayed people that I know and love.  I don’t like that I did it; but, it is a fact that I did.  I like to think that I am trustworthy.  I am sure that you want to think you are trustworthy also.

There is One person that is the epitome of trustworthy.  His name is Jesus.  He is so trustworthy that you can trust Him with your eternal soul.  People don’t like to think about that; but, one day we will all step out into eternity and then it will be too late to put your trust in Jesus Christ.  I urge you to do that now before it is eternally too late.

We can trust in Jesus’ person because He proved Himself to be who He says He is.  Look at John 14:4-6, “And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  Have you trusted Him yet?

How are you doing?

  1. David,

Thanks for the honesty. Most honest people admit to being somewhat like Judas more than like Jesus. I admire your courage. God bless,

    • Dear Dr. Lilly,

You taught me a long time ago that transparency leads to better sleep at night and I am doing my very best to practice what you have preached and taught.

      Brother David
