Nail It

Isaiah 22:23, “And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.”

In July 2011 I had the awesome opportunity to go to a youth conference at Hyles Anderson College in Hammond, IN.  If you don’t like them please don’t slam me with hate mail.  I can find some good most anywhere even if I don’t agree with the source.

This conference had the theme of “Nail It To The Cross”.  It was awesome.  One of the college’s choirs had recorded a song titled, “Nail It To The Cross”.  I love the song and I play it over and over in my vehicle while driving.  The whole point of the song and the conference is to take your sin to the cross of Jesus and get forgiveness.

Those nails were put into a sure place.  They would not come out.  Jesus was nailed to a wooden cross in your and my place to pay the highest price of all time and eternity.  You who know Christ as Saviour have been purchased with the blood of Jesus as the payment.  I hope that you and I will give our lives to Him becasue He, as the songwriter penned gave, “His Life For Mine”.  Glory to God!

So, how are you doing?
