D-Day

Yesterday was the anniversary of what we call D-Day.  Sixty-nine years ago yesterday our men stormed the beaches of Omaha, Normandy and Utah.  My dear friend Dr. Larry Lilly posted a great article here.  His article caused me to think (uncharted waters for me).

Here in America, we are under attack.  We are being swarmed by attacks, wave, upon wave, upon wave.  Do you even realize this?  If not here is your warning.  We need to wake up and smell the smoke of the artillery.

We have become so lazy in America that we sit by idle and just let life pass us by.  We try to accumulate as many “toys” as we possibly can; but, we don’t care that people with souls die every day and go out into eternity.  Each time your heart beats two (2) people step out into eternity.  The next time it could be your turn.  Are you prepared?

If you want to go to Heaven when you die you must realize that you are a sinner.  Romans 3:23 assures us that we are all sinners and fall short.  Romans 5:8 tells us that God demonstrated His great love to us by sending Jesus to die on the cross in our place.  Romans 10:9 and 10 tells us that we must call upon Him in prayer confessing our sin and He will save us.  This is so simple; but, pride keeps millions from trusting Jesus as Saviour.  Will you trust Him today?

So, how are you doing?
